Jorge L. Hernandez has been licensed to practice law since 1993.  Jorge Hernandez devotes his practiced to workers compensation, civil law and municipal court.  In 2007, after many years as a partner in a larger New Jersey based litigation firm, he established his own practice offering services in the area of workers compensation, civil litigation, municipal court and Social Security law.  Mr. Hernandez focuses his practice on the importance of balancing excellence, respect and passion. Since the first day he was admitted to practice law, he has followed these doctrines and has taken pride in gaining a reputation of excellence., 
Jorge Hernandez provides aggressive representation in Municipal, state and federal court.  He has personally represented thousands of injured clients and has secured millions of dollars in awards and settlements.   His areas of experience include automobile accident claims, pedestrian accidents, slip and falls accidents, trucking accidents, construction site accidents, bicycle and motorcycle accidents, products liability claims, dog bite claims, as well as  Municipal Court matters.
Jorge Hernandez is admitted to the Supreme Court of the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
In 2006, Jorge Hernandez received the distinct honor of being named Attorney of the Year by the Hispanic Day Parade Committee, an Honor which Mr. Hernandez holds close to his heart.  he is compassionate about all people but has a lot of empathy for the continued struggles of the working class, especially the Latino communities.  He takes great pride in having the distinct honor and privilege of advancing their rights before the legal system.
Mr. Hernandez graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and earned his law degree from the Rutgers’ School of Law.

Mr. Hernandez has lectured on the topic of Total Disability Claims before the Union County and Hispanic Bar. He is also member of the New State Bar Association-Civil Trial and Workers Compensation Bar Sections, New Jersey Association for Justice, and the Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. American Inn of Court- Workers Compensation.

Mr. Hernandez is fluent in English and Spanish and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.
